Anthony bit his lip and just replied, “Mm,” because he didn’t not enjoy where she was sitting, he just didn’t enjoy it here, and he didn’t want to sound like a dick. “Mm, fuck,” he mumbled out quietly, under his breath. He felt both uncomfortable and turned on at the same time, and he tilted his head to the side, licking his lips.
He stared at her legs as she walked to the other side of the table shamelessly, smiling when she sat down. He widened his eyes when he felt Sloane’s foot going up his legs, wanting to know when the fuck she decided to grow so bold. 24 hours before this she’d seemed like the shyest, most innocent, most reserved — in ways — girl he’d ever met. This he didn’t mind though. This was classic. He smirked and took his drink from the waitress when she brought them their drinks, the smirk staying on his face after he took a drink.
“Why not?” he questioned, wrapping his hands around his cold drink, his thumb silently knocking on the side. She’d always been sexy to him, and as he’d previously had on his mind, she probably didn’t realize just how sexy she was. What she just did five minutes ago, for example. Sloane was ridiculously sexy, and if she didn’t see that, he’d make it his goal to make sure she knew. As if it wasn’t already.
“Not sure… Why? Do you think I am?” She asked, a teasing smile playing on her face. Sloane was cute, adorable, precious; sexy was never something that she would willingly choose to describe herself as. She wasn’t sure how she felt about Anthony possibly thinking she was sexy. He was her sweet, adorable, nerdy boyfriend who made her feel so much better about herself than she ever had before, but she couldn’t put into words how uncomfortable she was with the idea of sex - or, rather, of them sleeping together.
Her mind was firing off chain reactions as quick as it could and maybe it was just the way she was over thinking things right now, but she had no idea if she was even ready to sleep with her boyfriend. They were on this trip together, staying in the same hotel room, and yet, they’d never had sex. Was that something that was supposed to happen on the trip? She had opened up to Anthony so much over the past couple of months, but she still hadn’t told him that she’d always thought she’d save herself for marriage.
She picked up the glass in front of her and took a drink, telling herself that she needed to stop thinking about things too much before they were even a possibility. She had no idea what was going to happen on their trip. It was only the first day; it had already been amazing and it could only get better. Besides, what was the big deal? She loved Anthony with all her heart. It wasn’t like she’d look back on it and regret it. “Besides, most of the time I’m bumming around in sweats and one of your hoodies. That’s not sexy, that’s lazy.” She said, giggling lightly and biting her bottom lip.
